The honor is mine, Mike. I've been watching you for some time now on DA. (Made me sound like a creeper.) I DO prefer characters, as I just have more fun with them, and I suck at backgrounds, but I'd like to think i'm getting better, so if I can help with characters OR backgrounds, that's all i'm really here for. And no worries, I suck at backgrounds too. What we're planning right now is to have photos to trace over, so the trick is to select the right photo and color properly

Ah yes, I have more experience in photo-manipulating my backgrounds cuz i'm lazy like that. XD That sounds like it'd be a lot easier...

The forum probably has it to combat spammers. The first thing spammers do is sign up and start posting links and nonsense. So far we've had none of that, so success!

I looked into this, but as far as I can tell we cannot. I understand why the protection is here, but since we have gated access anyway we don't really need it so much; in any case, it doesn't seem like there's anything I can do about it at the moment.

I'd like to apply for either writing or art (or maybe both) - or, at the least, access to the dev forums to see if there's any characters I'd particularly like to hit for writing. In terms of art, I have a tumblr and a deviantart but the dA is sitting unused and the tumblr is riddled with reblogs so I'll have to separate it out sometime this week. I'll get the tumblr link up soon, in any case.

I haven't got very many creative writing samples outside of fan-fiction, recent ones anyway, but I am alright with sending something from many years ago ('08), sending the fan-fic, and/or doing a prompt. I'm currently a journalist by trade, so most of my writing these days is non-fiction.

Hey I'm Drealth and I'd like to apply for an art position, currently I don't have anything on my deviantart but I'm drawing a picture for this just to get something up there.

I really love the idea of this visual novel... All characters have a certain anime stereotype around them and well it's yuri(also combining all the things I like to see, all in one). So it's all good!

Just sad I didn't find the thread on /u/ when you guys first made it I'm usually a uber lurker on 4chan, though when I was browsing /u/ back then I think all I was getting a heap of various tv series couplings like from 'glee' etc, kinda like my 3D separate from my 2D please, so I kinda stopped lurking /u/.

But yeah project is looking pretty solid and I would love to contribute so tomorrow hopefully I'll have the picture done and you can decide, if you need me to do another test art sure.

I'm probably more experienced with character art, but overall I don't mind what I need to do. In regards to backgrounds I can get a pretty solid lineart down for it and I know the basics for using the horizon line shenanigans, to make everything to scale but I'm not the best at adding little things like (flower pencils etc) to make it look natural. Other then that a few overall colour scheme issues with backgrounds... You see I don't usually draw background and I just need to grasp the understanding of what colour the environment is having on the character and the furniture,everything for that matter, so I make accurate adjustments to everything and not uneven the overall colour scheme.

Summing up for colouring I think I'm decent for colouring characters, reasonable for backgrounds. When I combined background and character I start to think... "hummm it's sunset I guess she should look more orangey?... maybe... WAIT IS SHE TOO ORANGE NOW?" (fyi this has relevance to what I'm drawing for this project test thing. It's in the sunset.) But in the end you just need to see it yourself.


Anywho be prepared I hope to upload something tomorrow. I would be delighted to see what you guys have got going behind the scenes and hopefully help out. But if I don't get into the art team.... I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO APPLY TO THE MUSIC TEAM OHOHOOHO, *wants to get behind the scenes no matter what*.
