It was made completely in a month with professional-looking art and music with the writing done by the creator and programmer. It has a gay and lesbian couple in it but mostly deals with the Internet, social networking, possibilities on the perception of "privacy" in the near future and relationships. It's very meta and a straightforward effort to make a point about where current issues are likely headed. By all means it isn't perfect (and the writer has said so herself) but to see it as an experiment on many levels is great.
It also raised a lot of controversy about gay, but that's not the point here.
